1: Project Name: Improving the food security and livelihood conditions of 2,200 most vulnerable households (15,400 individuals)
Location: Ghormach and Muqur Distrcts of Badghis Province
The objective of this project is to provide emergency assistance in Ghormach and Moqur districts of Badghis Province, specifically targeting the most vulnerable families facing severe food insecurity, especially those households classified with IPC3 and above.
According to FSAC guidelines, each eligible family will receive a package consisting of 100 kilograms of forage animal feed, 200 kilograms of straw, and 2 liters of de-wormer syrup.
Each poultry farming package consists of 15 chickens (including 2 roosters and 13 hens), 75 Kg. of poultry feed, 2 Drinkers, 2 feeders, and structural equipment for the construction of the chicken coop.
Total poultry farming packages for 840 families in Ghormach and for 360 families in Moqur district, as well as livestock packages for 700 families in Ghormach and 300 families in Moqur district.
2: Project Title: NGOs/CSOs Capacity Support Project
Location: Nerkh Distrct of Wardak Province
Project Goal: 150 most vulnerable and female headed households have improved and livelihood conditions in Nerkh district of Wardak province.
Each poultry farming package consists of 20 chickens (including 2 roosters and 18 hens), 150 Kg. of poultry feed, 3 Drinkers, 3 feeders, and structural equipment for the construction of the chicken coop
3: Project Goal: Helping widows and poor Women
Project Location:District Number 3 and 5, Kabul city
The objective of this project was to provide 16 items of food and non-food assistance for 100 widows and poor women in 3 and 5 districts of Kabul city.
4: Project Goal: Animal Husbandry for 33 Families
Project Location: Jawzjan Province
The objective of this project was to provide and distribute Yaks to 33 vulnerable and poor formers to support agriculture in Takhar province.
5:Project Goal: Support the Poor and widows’ women
Location: Faryab Province
Each poultry farming package consists of 20 chickens including roosters and hens, 150 Kg. of poultry feed, 3 Drinkers, 3 feeders for 55 widows and poor women in Faryab province.
